ART DECO STATELY HOME
- It preserves original elements from the beginning of the 20th century.
- Village house
- Zamora
The building was constructed in 1929 as a family home, and at the rear, it had an artisan cheese factory.
Although nowadays it needs an integral renovation, still maintains its solid structure in good conditions and preserves elements of the decorative Art Deco style in the interior, such as the mouldings of the ceilings, frescoes on the walls or hydraulic tile floors.
The sober character of the brick façades, with a unique decoration and the grills in windows and balconies indicate its amazing fine weave. Its combination with the decoration of livelier and more colourful interior spaces is surprising.
It has a built area of 462m2 split in two floors, with large and bright rooms. On the upper floor, there is a large loft that still preserves its lattice of wooden beams. In the rear part, the warehouses of the old factory and the pen can be converted into a pleasant garden.
The property is located in Villalonso, a town from Zamora close to the Valladolid province and with one of the best-preserved castles.
It is a unique representative construction in the region of Tierra del Pan in Zamora.
